body art? or random act of regrettable stupidity?

i just thought i'd post the fact that i plan on finally getting my tattoo done on either thurs or fri. i'm getting the Hyrulian Crest from the shield in The Legend of Zelda. yeah, it's geeky, but that's the point. time to recognise that i was never the coolest kid at school, nor am i really now, but it's a part of who i am and i'm still fighting the good fight to not sell out to be like everyone else.
plus there's the power/courage/wisdom element and it looks wikkid cool.

me being somewhat poor nonewithstanding, i'll be cashed up and i actually have the nerve to do it finally instead of just leaving it as a vague plan for the near future. i wanted something like this since i was about 16, so five years is enough waiting around and i need to bite the bullet. it's symbolic for actually doing what you say you're going to do as well.
